The recent interior design renovation focused on creating a seamless blend of Arabian tradition and contemporary sophistication, enhancing functionality, comfort, and cultural representation.
Renovation Objectives & Design Approach
The renovation was guided by three key principles:
- Preserving Qatari Identity – Integrating traditional design elements, handcrafted details, and cultural preferences into a modern London setting.
- Enhancing Luxury & Comfort – Introducing high-end materials, bespoke furnishings, and advanced smart-home technology to elevate the living experience.
- Optimizing Space & Functionality – Redesigning the interior layout to create harmonious, multi-purpose spaces suited for both formal and informal use.
Key Interior Renovation Highlights
- Grand Living & Reception Area Transformation
The living and reception spaces were redesigned to serve as both an elegant diplomatic venue and a luxurious private lounge.
- Flooring & Wall Finishes – The original floors were replaced with polished Italian marble with Qatari-inspired geometric inlays, while the walls were upgraded with wood paneling, gold-leaf detailing, and textured silk wallpaper.
- Bespoke Lighting Installations – Custom crystal chandeliers inspired by traditional mashrabiya patternswere introduced, along with soft LED accent lighting to create a warm and inviting atmosphere.
- Custom Furnishings – The wet areas was transformed into high quality bathroom and kitchen to ensure a seamless blend of luxury and functionality, the renovation included smart-home technology upgrades.
- Automated Lighting & Climate Control – Programmable lighting and intelligent temperature control systems for ultimate convenience.
